Directions: Adults and children 12 years of age or older: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) every 6 hours not to exceed 8 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) every 6 hours not to exceed 4 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children 2 to under 6 years of age: 1/2 teaspoonful (2 1/2 ml) every 6 hours not to exceed 2 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children under 2 years of age: Consult a physician.

Warnings: A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a physician. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a physician. As with any drug if you are pregnant, nursing a baby or hypersensitive to dextromethorphan or guaifenesin, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Clear Cough does not contain any medication to improve any existing condition other than cough and lack of expectoration. DRUG INTERACTION PRECAUTION: Do not use this product if you are taking a prescription drug containing a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions) without first consulting your doctor. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product. MAKE SURE THIS PRODUCT AND ALL DRUGS ARE KEPT WELL OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.
