Oral Anesthetic, Analgesic Uses Temporarily relieves occasional minor irritation, pain, sore throat and sore mouth. Relief you can take anywhere. Two 20-strip dispensers. Directions: Adults and children 5 years of age and older: Take 2 strips per dose, only. Remove one strip from the dispenser and place on back of your tongue to dissolve in the mouth. Use a second strip immediately after the first one dissolves. May be repeated every 2 hours as needed or as directed by a doctor or dentist. Children under 5 years of age: Consult a doctor or dentist. For best results, keep unopened dispenser inside of blister package. Protect from moisture and avoid heat and humidity. Do not keep in pocket for extended periods of time.
Warnings: Sore throat warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat that occurs with high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use more than 2 days or give to children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. Do not use: if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other 'caine' anesthetics. When using this product do not use more than directed. Stop use and ask a doctor if: sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days; swelling, rash or fever develops; irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens; difficulty in breathing occurs. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use. Make sure this product is kept well out of the reach of children. If more than used for pain is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
